Your voice data,
processed and discarded
Voice data is biometric data. Wisprr treats it with actual respect: your audio is processed for transcription and immediately deleted. We don't hoard your data because we don't even have a server to put it on.
Privacy-First Architecture
We deliberately designed Wisprr to process and discard audio immediately. This isn't a limitation — it's a privacy feature. Your voice data never persists on external servers because we don't store it.
Security by design
Six layers of protection built into every version of Wisprr.
Audio Discarded Immediately
Your audio is sent to Groq's API for transcription, processed in real-time, and immediately deleted. We don't have servers to store it even if we wanted to.
Local-Only Storage
Your transcriptions, notes, and settings are stored locally on your hard drive. Your data never leaves your computer except during the brief transcription request.
Bring Your Own Key
You provide your own Groq API key. This means you have a direct relationship with the infrastructure provider, and your usage is tied only to your own account.
Secure Transmission
All audio sent for transcription travels over encrypted HTTPS connections directly to Groq. Your data is protected in transit from interception.
Zero Tracking
We don't use analytics, crash reporters, or ad SDKs. There are no trackers and no telemetry. What you dictate stays your business.
Offline Fallback
You can dictate completely offline. The audio files are queued locally and only sent for transcription when you reconnect to the internet.
Our privacy promise
We will never sell your data, serve you ads, or implement background analytics. Wisprr earns your trust by processing audio and discarding it immediately — because the safest storage is no storage at all.
